Wedding bells in Enschede on 10th May 1938 at the new St Jacobus church for Marie’s sister Truus and Stef Willard who hails from Laren (N.H.), the owner of a carpet factory at Cornelis Bakker Alley in that village. Truus was a primary school teacher for several years before her marriage.
Both had the same age 34.
