Bernard Leferink Sr. shop is next to the corner shop of Jeweller Hankamp, years later the jeweller moved apparently across the road, when B.J. Leferink bought his site and expanded his premises.

Bernard Leferink Sr. was not only a shopkeeper, but also a plasterer.
His father Berend Jan used to have a small shop besides being a nightwatchman in the village of Haaksbergen, where he lived at 8 Blankenburg.
