Frank made some Christmas novelties.

The Hofstede nursery in Arnhem where Frank used to work, was known for creating beautiful flower pieces and at Christmas they excelled in decorative novelties, always selling like hot cakes. So Frank had the idea , why not have a try in here in Oz. Lacking the delicate trinkets and fine flowers, it was easy said than done. But somehow he managed to throw a dozen and half pieces together, with the help of nature, a saw, paint and some glue. His sisters volunteered to get the passing traffic to stop and give some attention to his creativity. Quite a success it became, most were sold and he had some pocket money, to spend on presents. The sign in front of the house tells that there is also a shoemaker in this place, Dad used to mend our shoes, but now he's ready to go public.
