Welcome to my gallery with old family photos, which I've scanned and included in my family history book, still in progress. Family memories are the most perishable of inheritances and therefore I have been collecting pictures and data for a long time. It's an absorbing and emotional undertaking, learning about your ancestors.
At my advancing age, time and perseverance is crucial now, while my recollection is still functioning.
Being at the other side of the globe, away from my land of ancestry, made it more difficult to keep on track. I'm fortunate that some distant family members were able and willing to help me with my endeavour, for which I'm very grateful.
