Our grandfather Bernard was 27 when he married Wilhelmina age 26,on April 27th 1899. She came from nearby Lonneker, her father passed away 13 years earlier, so only her 57 yr old widowed mother Anna was present at the wedding, as well her younger sisters Johanna and Maria and brothers Herman, Gerard.
The Leferinks were well presented, both parents of the groom were there and so his six sisters and three younger brothers. His two years younger sister Marie was their with her husband Martin Veldkamp who embarked upon marriage two months earlier. This couple migrated to the USA later.
