Good old Tom (yes he just missed out celebrating his 90th a few years ago) was a handyman, anything that needs fixing, he had an answer for it. At that time he worked as a maintenance employee with the Victorian Railways, at the shunting yard workshop in the city. He preferred the night shifts, so he could build his house during the day. You could ask when did the man sleep, well Tom didn't miss out on his slumber, apparently he was able to squeeze a few hours rest while he was attending to the railway carriages.
